Phu Quoc Island – Destination of Travel
Phu Quoc today is no longer the pristine island separated from the main land. It becomes a special travel destination of Kien Giang in particular and Vietnam country in general.
Previously, geographic distance makes this place become isolated and poor, but now it suddenly becomes the most quiet resort and desolate island, not only in Vietnam, but also in the world.
I must say that Phu Quoc island has many beautiful scenes for travelers to enjoy, without an appropriate route, it is difficult to visit all scenes of the island.
The pepper Garden: On the road from Duong Dong to Ganh Dau, you will see lush pepper gardens on both sides of the road. Phu Quoc pepper is known for pungent, and solid particles. It is the reason when you enjoy the cuisine at the Phu Quoc island, you feel more scent.
Ganh Dau Cape: The road to Cape Ganh Dau may be slightly far from prosperous center but it will not make you disappointed about your decision. Standing on the Cape of stretching 500m bow, visitors can see Cambodia and especially seafood here is very firm and sweet flesh.
Enjoy the sunset of Dinh Cau Cape: Dinh Cau, located in Duong Dong town, is about 5 minutes walk from Duong Dong Market. Dinh Cau Cape is a famous landmark in Phu Quoc. In particular, enjoy the sunset at Dinh Cau is something that any visitors, traveling to Phu Quoc, should not be overlooked. You should stay at Dinh Cau overnight to enjoy night market and fresh extreme delicious seafood of the island.
Hon Thom: Do not miss the fun activities in Hon Thom. Here you can go diving and watching coral, take a look at aquaculture zones of fishermen, pearl farms at Hon Thom located about 10 minutes by train, or you can visit famous squid fishing village in Phu Quoc.
Suoi Tranh: Suoi Tranh is made up of many small streams, woods crept through ravines, with water from June to September every year. Here comes the beautiful natural landscape with flowers, mountains, seas and rivers. In hot weather days, there are a lot of tourists coming here to have a bath in streams, picnic and camping overnight. Suoi Tranh is located in Ham Ninh mountain, northeast of the island of Phu Quoc. From Duong Dong town, according to Duong Dong route – Ham Ninh approximately 10 km is to be Suoi Tranh.
Stone table Stream (Da Ban stream): in turn, It is called Stone table because there are many big and flat rock as a table around Stream. This is one of those places you should not miss when visiting Phu Quoc National Park.
Bai Sao is one of the most beautiful beaches in Phu Quoc. It owns creamy white sand over 7 kilometers long, sloping curved shape like the moon. During peak season, Bai Sao is so crowded, so if you like to go to beach, you should go early to rent a hammock to rest. Bao Sao is located above the South Island, about 30km from Duong Dong town. Experience for everyone: if you like to go Bai Sao, should hire a taxi or go from the An Thoi direction, but not the dust trail, large car occasionally run across several units but still comfortable than traveling dirt roads.
Coi Nguon Museum in Phu Quoc: is a place to keep the story on the island of Phu Quoc. Coi Nguon Museum holds over 3,000 artifacts, including 300 sets of document folders about Phu Quoc by the Chinese, Vietnamese, English and French. Besides this, there are areas of driftwood art galleries; seashells art zone; Product areas souvenirs, pearls; Traditional bungalows on Phu Quoc countryside.
Fishing village Ham Ninh in Phu Quoc:
