Sapa terraced fields: While traveling to Sapa, you can not miss terraced fields spreading all around Sapa town. Appropriate time to see the most beautiful terraces is usually from mid-September to mid-October, depending on the time of grain each year.
Food in Sapa: For regular meals and breakfast, you can go to food market near the square, opposite the cathedral, full of foods. All restaurants in Sapa have public outside menu for your choice. Sidewalk cafes are also available, for those who prefer junk food: barbecue, nem chua etc.
2 days 3 nights trip tip in Sapa: This is a proposed program based on my experience in Sapa. You go to Sapa by train or bus at night, and arrive to Lao Cai station on the morning. From here, you take bus to Sapa. After taking motel, you can rent a motobike to visit Ta Van village and ancient rocks, come back to have lunch at noon in Sapa town. Afternoon, you can visit Ta Phinh, take bath service of Dao people (or go to Silver waterfall, or Cat Cat village), come back to Sapa late afternoon.
